Your Child's Experience

Imagine, you are a three-year-old child, emerging from the family car on your very first day of nursery school. You are feeling a bit intimidated, unsure and perhaps even frightened of this new experience.

As you are hovering near the door, a tall woman approaches, crouching down to look you in the eye, and smiles at you. She asks your name, and tells you hers. She talks with you quietly, and then gently takes you by the hand and shows you to a bright classroom, filled with toys, crayons, paints, and other fun and exciting activities.

Now, fast forward 2 months. You emerge from the family car, bounding out excitedly, running to your classroom, where you excitedly tell your teacher about the surprise you have for Show and Tell. You can't wait to show the rest of class! You love your school and your teacher, you have loads of fun and always get to explore and try new things. You can't wait to get to school every day!

Every parent knows just how special his or her child is. We absolutely agree. Our goal is to create a rich environment that your child will explore and find success in every day. For many of the children, this will be the beginning of their school experience; a great deal of learning will occur right here. The Wilder staff is dedicated to making the children's first school experience a positive one. We want them to love coming to school!
