The Wilder Staff & Our Special Classes
Wilder teachers have chosen to teach preschoolers because they genuinely love and enjoy young children.
Our Staff
The Wilder staff consists of very dedicated, loving, and experienced early childhood professionals. All of our staff are college graduates more than qualified to meet the certification requirements set by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Many have a Masters degree. One staff member is also a Registered Nurse.
Margo Siegfried joined the Wilder staff in 1981 and became the director in 1988. Margo is also the school's music teacher. Lisa Freitas is the school's Administrative Assistant in the Wilder office.
Led by our creative Head Teacher, Deb Rooney, who has over twenty years experience at Wilder, our excellent and enthusiastic classroom teachers, are Robin Dellot, Lisa Deschenes, Sheryl Itzkowitz, Kris Coughlin, Cathy Murray, Denise Neville, Donna Scanlon, Maria Siegfried and Sheila Ventresca. You could not ask for a more devoted or enthusiastic group! These teachers have chosen to teach preschoolers because they genuinely love and enjoy young children. Children need all the support they can get. It is important to all of our staff to make school a safe, happy, and exciting learning place for your child. They want your child to love coming to school!
Donna Scanlon, our Art teacher, instructs the children every two weeks. The children love our Arts and Language programs! We also present Literacy and Science programs.
